Betis Church, in
Guagua. It is one of the oldest churches in Pampanga built in 1754. its
ceilings and walls are filled with paintings and sculptures. The whole
structure centers on the classic altar surrounded by religious frescoes.
In front of the church itself is the famous Betis Artesian Well, the
oldest well in the entire Pampanga province.
St. Peter Shrine in
Apalit. It is the home of "Apung-Iru", a life size ivory statue
of St. Peter brought into the country from Spain.
Apalit Parochial Church,
built between 1629-30, is located at the town plaza. Its ceiling and dome
are filled with beautiful paintings that serve as a source of inspiration
and pride for the townspeople.
San Bartolome Church,
in Arayat. Built in honor of St. Catherine of Alexandria, this church is
one of the oldest in the province and is known for its classical
architecture.
Sta. Lucia, in
Sexmoan. Attracting devotees from all over the province, the church has a
grotto of Our Lady of Fatima.
Don Honorio Ventura
College of Arts and Trades in Bacolor, was founded November 4, 1861.
Formerly the Escuela de Artes Y Official de Bacolor, it is the oldest
trade school in the Far East.
Archdiocesian Museum
and Archives in San Fernando, the museum and archives contain antiques
and exquisite works of art depicting Pampanga's rich cultural heritage.
